My name is Jeffrey Withaya Campbell. Here in Taiwan they call me 康威 (Kāng Wēi).

I am an Australian World Heritage Studies/Computer Science graduate currently studying Chinese in Taipei, Taiwan.

我的中文名字是康威，來自澳洲，世界文化遺產研究碩士，目前在台灣學習中文。

This blog is dedicated to sharing my experiences learning Mandarin in Taiwan. In 2007-08 I was granted a Ministry of Education Huayu (Mandarin) Enrichment Scholarship. The Taiwanese government has many different programs that enable people to travel, study and work in Taiwan in order to raise awareness of the country and hopefully, in the longer term, increase its soft power.

2007年至2008年期間，我獲得教育部促進華語獎學金，這個部落格即是致力於分享個人在台灣學習中文的種種經驗。為了提升對本國的認識並進而凝聚無形的影響力，台灣當局有許多鼓勵方案讓外國人士可以在台灣一邊旅遊，一邊讀書、工作。
